OBJECTIVE

To establish the company’s commitment to the quality and safety of the food it produces, ensuring that its products comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as customer expectations, through an effective and continuously improving management system.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all areas, processes, products, and personnel of the company involved in the manufacturing, storage, handling, and marketing of food products. It also involves suppliers, contractors, and relevant interested parties who directly or indirectly influence the quality and safety of the product.

We are a company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of various products, and we are fully aware of our commitment to social responsibility. We are dedicated to making every necessary effort to maintain and improve the management of food quality and safety, guided by the following policies:

  • Commitment to establish, maintain, and continually improve a food safety system by ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to food safety.
  • Quality assurance programs are an integral part of the company’s management methodology and are designed to enhance and uphold the reputation of Frigorífico de la Costa S.A.S. as reliable manufacturers and marketers of quality products. These programs provide every team member with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the goals established in our Quality Policies.
  • Establish and maintain a food safety culture within the plant.
  • Continuously improve the food production process as well as staff development.
  • Minimize contamination and waste generation and manage waste appropriately.
  • Provide quality service in a hygienic and comfortable environment for our customers.
  • Provide a safe and clean working environment for our employees.
  • Manage our organic and chemical waste in a safe and environmentally friendly.
