Kibbe with Tahini sauce
STEPS
Step 1
THE DOUGH
– American wheat should be washed with cold water and let it rest for 10 minutes.
– Previously rested, it must be drained and mixed with: The meat, onion, salt, and pepper, mix until you have a flexible and completely homogeneous mass. Let stand while filling.
Step 2
THE STUFFED
– Sauté in a frying pan with very hot oil, onion and garlic.
– When the onion crystallizes, add the ground meat of preference along with the pepper, cinnamon and salt. When the preparation is well cooked (takes a golden color) Add the parsley, and remove it from the heat.
Step 3
THE SHAPE
– With the mixture of the dough make a ball the size of the palm of your hand, press it so that it is crushed, and take a tablespoon of the filling mixture.
Close the dough, making a ball and at the same time the elongated tips.
– Repeat until both mixtures are finished and keep in a separate tray.
Step 4
TO FRY
– Prepare a pan with very hot oil, introduce the kibbes and watch until they are dark brown.
– Drain on absorbent paper and let stand.
Step 5
THE SAUCE
– Mix the cup of Sesame Tahini Al’fresco with the lemon juice, water, and garlic.
-It should be a homogeneous mixture and without lumps.
