Preventive Policy Against Workplace Harassment
OBJECTIVE
To promote and strengthen labor relations based on respect and protection of workers’ rights, through the policy of prevention of labor and sexual harassment, which will establish protocols to prevent, typify, investigate and resolve conflicts within the organization.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This policy applies to all interested parties that interact with the company Frigorifico de la Costa S.A.S.
POLICIES
FRIGORIFICO DE LA COSTA S.A.S, seeks to generate a healthy, safe and adequate work environment for those who work in it; therefore, promotes a work environment that prevents harassment at work, with the participation of employees from their responsibility. Therefore, it establishes the following guidelines:
- All employees have the right to work in an environment free of all forms of discrimination and conduct that may be considered harassment, limitation or alteration.
- For its part, the company is committed to preventing and minimizing harassment at work and defending the right of all employees to be treated with dignity at work. All employees must work together to implement a plan to prevent harassment in the workplace.
- The company is also committed to establish activities aimed at generating a collective conscience of healthy coexistence, which promotes work in dignified and fair conditions; harmony among those who share the company’s working life and the good environment in the company and protects the privacy, honor, mental health and freedom of people at work.
- The company will fight against harassment at work from a preventive point of view, so that the prevention of these behaviors is integrated into the management systems it develops.
- Any person who engages in harassing behavior will be subject to investigation in accordance with the provisions of current regulations such as Law 1010 of 2006, procedures and their respective disciplinary measures.
